What is your name? Daan Heemskerk

Where are you from? The Netherlands, Amsterdam

What do you like most about teaching? To see the students improving while they are enjoying themselves. Also, it’s great to meet new people and to connect with them in a meaningful way. :)

What do you like about the English (or Czech) language? I really enjoy the flow of the language. It is rich with phrasal verbs and expressions, giving the user the ability to convey their message in a very personal and colorful way. This is also why I happen to enjoy English over my own native language of Dutch!

What do you like about Brno?  Brno is bubbly yet homely. It is culturally rich, providing ample opportunities to see great art and enjoy amazing food at incredibly affordable prices. Lovely people too! 

What do you do in your free time? I love to draw and make music. 

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Definitely sushi! :)
