Can I come if I am a language teacher but not a trainer?
We are very sorry but the Trainers' Weekend is only for Teacher Trainers and Academic Managers. To check if you are eligible to attend the Trainers' Weekend please complete the application form here and we will let you know.
How do I know if I am eligible to come?
Please complete the application form giving as much information as you can about your experience as a trainer and/or manager. We will look at your application and get back to you.
Can I pay in Euros?
When paying through a bank transfer the amount should be transferred in Czech crowns.
For people paying in person at school, we prefer Czech crowns but we can accept Euros.
Please note there will be a small fee for this.
What happens if I can no longer attend?
Once your application has been accepted if you then need to, you can cancel your registration. The cancellation policy is:
– notification received by 31st January - full refund;
– by 14th February - 50% refund of full fee;
– after 14th February - no refund
How many hours is the Trainers' Weekend?
Over the two days - Friday and Saturday, there are 8 hours (60 minutes) of input plus time for discussion and networking in the breaks and mealtimes.
Do I get a certificate of attendance?
IH Brno can provide certificates upon request.
